Welcome to the road less traveled! I am Hannah Street, a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). With a lifelong passion for mental health, I am grateful to live my dream career by helping you and your mental health needs! I love advocating for children, adolescents, adults, and their families. I am happy to be a resource to you and your family through medication management in a holistic manner. I believe that our mental, physical, and spiritual health must be balanced to feel like our best, true self. In addition, I have a collaborative approach with therapists, other medical providers, and community resources to ensure your success. If you are in school, I can offer advocacy to you or child’s academic accommodations. I prioritize building trusting relationships with patients and their families. As a team, we will tailor treatment plans to address each unique need to promote improved well-being. I am driven by a deep sense of compassion and empathy for those I serve. I strive to empower children and adults to lead fulfilling and resilient lives, while fostering a sense of hope and possibility for a bright future.
With over 10 years of mental health experience, I started in healthcare as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) working in adult and geriatric inpatient psych while I was in school obtaining my Bachelors of Science in Nursing through Cumberland University. After obtaining my RN, I worked in an inpatient psychiatric hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Nashville and Murfreesboro area, with my focus being on child and adolescent psych. I received my Masters of Science in Nursing from University of South Alabama. Since practicing as a PMHNP, I have worked in the outpatient setting with ages 5 years old and up in medication management.
I am native to Tennessee, where I have prescribing privileges. In my spare time, you will find me hiking and camping in National Parks or Tennessee state parks, enjoying time with friends and family. I have a spoiled black cat and a Jack Russell-Beagle mutt that keep me busy!
